The MSGC offers funding in three categories of programs: (1) Pre-College Education; (2) Public Outreach; and (3) Teacher Training. Augmentation funding is available for any of these programs that target under-represented minorities, women, and disabled individuals.
Proposals that address National Space Grant goals will receive preferential evaluation (see: About Us).
MSGC Pre-College Education Program
This award program is designed to promote projects that encourage and enrich the study of mathematics, science, or technology for K-12 students. Preference is given to projects focusing on aerospace, space or Earth system science.
MSGC Public Outreach Program
This award program is designed to support conferences, workshops, publications, lecture series, non-technical courses, science fairs, radio and television programs, and other enrichment events that serve industry, state and local governments, non-profit organizations, children, and adults with a focus on enhancing literacy and interest in mathematics, science, and technology.
MSGC Teacher Training Program
This award program is designed to promote innovative higher education of pre-service and in-service teacher training in mathematics, science, and/or technology in aerospace, space or Earth system science.
